The burn pile at the transfer station is temporarily closed for the next one and a half weeks to allow the ash pile to cool and avoid flare ups.

The Village alert system is active, but we need your help. If you did not receive an email, text message, or voice message on July 15 between 4:50pm and 5:00pm you may not be on our contact list. If you would like to be added, please contact the office at 403-626-3233 or office@glenwood.ca.

The Village office is now the place to apply for burn permits. We have the forms from emergency services to fill out and help you get a permit to burn specific types of yard waste. Below is a guideline on what is & is NOT allowed to burn. Bear in mind that these rules are subject to change depending on conditions and fire ban notifications. We can only issue permits to residents of Glenwood.    

The splash park is now open on a limited basis. One feature is not currently operational but as soon as the part arrives it will be back in use. Hope everyone has an amazing summer.

Irrigation Filters Available for Village Residents The Village of Glenwood currently has 55 irrigation filters available to residents at a discounted rate of $19 each. These filters are designed to connect right to your garden (sprinkler) hose and allow for easy cleanout of the filter media. Contact the Village office to get one today. P.S. If you need Joe to install for you, he is available for $45 plus the cost of any parts needed. But honestly, these are super easy to install yourself.
