Glenwood has a number of great recreational facilities.

Community Hall

The Glenwood Community Hall is located at 90 Main Avenue and is available for rental. Fees and charges for the Community Hall may be found in the Fees, Rates & Charges bylaw. Take a moment to read the Community Hall booking policy.

Ice Rink

The Glenwood Ice Rink is located at 257 2nd Avenue West. The Ice Rink is seasonally operated and is operational when weather conditions permit good ice formation. Care of the Ice Rink is performed by seasonal a staff member.

Village Park

The Village Park is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Center Street and 1st Avenue West. The one acre park is equipped with playground structures for children’s play and restrooms are open during the summer months.

Spray Park

The Spray Park is located directly south of the Village Office and Glenwood Library on Main Avenue. The park is operational during the summer months and the water can be activated by pushing the button on the ground in the very center of the concrete pad with a “bare” foot. The park is equipped with benches, shade trees, picnic tables and restrooms are open during the summer months.

Glenwood Riding Arena

Located two blocks east of the intersection of Main Avenue and 1st Street North (GPS 49.365226,-113.504193), the Glenwood Riding Arena provides an area to practice horsemanship.

Administered by the Glenwood Riding Association, the arena is used to promote safety, fun and personal development in horsemanship by building a good foundation for horse and human; to provide secure, enjoyable and fun activities inclusive of social and educational opportunities that unite family and community together.
